Good news ‘X-Men’ fans ! Bryan Singer will be back to direct the next installment in the ‘X-Men’ franchise.
I wouldn’t consider myself a huge X-Men fan, but I did enjoy ‘X-Men:First Class’ and ‘X-Men:Days Of Futures Past. Bryan Singer, who directed the first two ‘X-Men’ films and ‘Days Of Futures Past’, just recently had his sexual assault case dropped and is looking to move on with the franchise. This is great news, considering what he brought to Days Of Futures Past, which was one of the best films in the franchise. I will be keeping you updated on whether Channing Tatum will be making a cameo as Gambit. He will be staring in his own film, but the release date for the ‘Gambit’ film has yet to be announced.
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ will be released May 27th, 2016 and James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicolas Hoult and Hugh Jackman will all be returning.
Brian Singer, director of ‘X-Men’, ‘X-Men 2’ and the upcoming ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’, will be returning to direct ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. The film is said to be focusing on the younger generation of X-Men, with names like Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and the lovely Jennifer Lawrence returning for the film. There’s no word on whether any of the veteran X-Men cast will make an appearance. The film is set to be released May 27th, 2016.
X Men: Days Of Futures Past seems to be going back to the roots of the originals. Directed by Brian Singer, who directed the first X Men and X2, I believe Days Of Futures Past could be a fantastic follow-up to a Not-So-Great X men 3 and a surprisingly good X Men: First Class. The story of Days Of Futures Past revolves around Wolverine traveling back in time to talk to an old Patrick Stewart to help save their species. The film will be released in 3D May 23rd, 2014.
