Kim Jong-Un does not want ‘The Interview’.

Kim Jong-Un has threatened war against America if they decide to release the Seth Rogan comedy ‘The Interview’. ‘The Interview’ stars James Franco and Seth Rogan as tabloid journalist Dave Skylark and producer of the show Aaron Rapoport. When “Skylark Tonight” lands an interview with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, the CIA get involved and hires Dave and Aaron to assassinate the Korean dictator. It’s not the first time a North Korean dictator has been used in a film. Kim Jong-Un’s father, Kim Jong-Il, was the ridiculous puppet villain in ‘Team American: World Police. So why all the hate against America now? Could this be nothing more than a publicity stunt? Or is this actually a real thing? I guess we’ll have to find out. ‘The Interview will be released October 10th, 2014.

Leonardo Dicaprio and Danny Boyle in talks for Steve Jobs Biopic

Image

THR reports Danny Boyle is in talks to directed the new Steve Job Biopic, with Leonardo Dicaprio in talks to play Steve Jobs. This news comes a few days after it was announced that David Fincher would not direct the film. David Fincher was eyeing Christian Bale to play jobs. Aaron Sorkin scripted the biopic and we are hoping it’s better than the Ashton Kutcher version of Steve Jobs.

Everyone’s favourite nanny is back ! You ready for ‘Mrs. Doubtfire 2’?

Mrs Doubtfire

Robin Williams will be back in drag ! ‘Mrs. Doubtfire 2’ has been confirmed, with Chris Columbus coming back to direct !¬†Writing the script is ‘Elf’ scriber David Berenbaum. No word on when filming will commence, or who else will come back, but I’m not expecting everyone to come back. Mara Wilson has been retired for awhile, her last movie being Thomas and The Magic Railroad in 2000. The first film made $441 million. Do you think this one will make big money? Or should this be scraped entirely?

‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ will be the start of a new trilogy

Image

Michael Bay has made his share of movies that do nothing but make your ears hurt. Explosions here, explosions there…but I must admit, he does wonders for action fans. So, for those of you who are fans of his, you may be excited to know that his ‘Transformers’ films will continue after ‘Age of Extinction’. Although, he has stated that he may not direct the fifth and sixth instalments, I am expecting him to return. I wish he wouldn’t, however, as I’m waiting for him to do something new. I feel like ‘Transformers’ has hit its peak, but the action is exhilarating.

I guarantee you ‘Gone Girl’ will be a major contender in next years Oscar race

I made the mistake of reading the ending of ‘Gone Girl’, a novel by Gillian Flynn, at a local book store recently. I knew it was being adapted into a movie and I was interested to know what it was all about. Biggest mistake I may have made. David Fincher directs the film adaptation, with Ben Affleck staring as a husband who is on the search for his wife, who has disappeared. ‘Gone Girl’ will be released October 3rd, 2014.

‘Divergent’ Finale, ‘Allegiant’, will be split in two

Image

The third and last film adaptation to the best selling novel ‘Allegiant’ will be cut in half. ‘Allegiant: Part 1’ will be released March 18th, 2016, while Part 2 will be released March 24, 2015. The second film to the series ‘Insurgent’ will be released March 20th, 2015. The film joins the likes of ‘Twilight’, ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘The Hunger Games’, with each of the series finales being split in two. In my opinion, I don’t like the idea of split films. It just makes sense to combine the films in one film instead of having them drag. As much as I loved ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1’, it felt like an unfinished film, but part 2 was a great conclusion. I haven’t seen ‘Divergent’ yet, but I’ve heard mixed things from people who have. Did you see ‘Divergent’? Is it worth the watch?

Here’s the new ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ trailer, and it looks fantastic !

‘How to Train Your Dragon’ was probably, in my opinion, one of Dreamwork’s best films. The film looked great visually and was emotionally packed. Now comes the sequel, which looks as equally great visually and emotionally packed. ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ brings back your favourite voice cast, including Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller and Kristen Wiig. New additions include Cate Blanchett, Kit Harrington and Djimon Hounsou. The film will hit theatres June 13th.
