X Men: Days Of Futures Past trailer is here.

X Men: Days Of Futures Past seems to be going back to the roots of the originals. Directed by Brian Singer, who directed the first X Men and X2, I believe Days Of Futures Past could be a fantastic follow-up to a Not-So-Great X men 3 and a surprisingly good X Men: First Class. The story of Days Of Futures Past revolves around Wolverine traveling back in time to talk to an old Patrick Stewart to help save their species. The film will be released in 3D May 23rd, 2014.

Get a look at the new Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier trailer

Captain America 2 takes place after the events of The Avengers. While joining forces with Black Widow and making some new friends, Steve Rogers/Captain America is sent to find a villain by the name of The Winter Soldier. By the looks of the trailer, this doesn’t look half bad…or maybe I’m just biased cause I think Scarlett Johansson is the greatest looking person in the world. Anyways, I’m getting a little off track here. Captain America 2 stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Robert Redford and Samuel L Jackson. The film is slated for a April 4, 2014 release.

This dogs halloween costume is perfect !

Image

I was shown this picture at my volunteer job yesterday by the friend. For the rest of the day, I couldn’t get it out of my head and I couldn’t get a hold of the picture to show it to everybody, but here it is ! This dogs has the privilege of being Miley Cyrus’s Wrecking Ball, and I got to admit, whoever came up with this idea is just brilliant. Not only is it original and hilarious, but it actually makes so much sense and couldn’t have been done better. I don’t think I’ll be able to top this off, so I just won’t even wear a Halloween costume. I feel like this can’t be beat.

Sequel to Beetlejuice in the works.

Image

Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice will always be a classic. Michael Keaton gives a zany performance as the crazed dead guy, and we can’t forget a younger Winona Ryder. Well, it’s been confirmed that a Beetlejuice sequel is in the works, with Tim Burton in talks to direct. The film will be written by Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg and is said to be a true sequel to the 1988 classic. It has not been announced yet if Michael Keaton will return, but if he doesn’t, it really won’t be true to the original. Michael Keaton IS Beetlejuice.

REVIEW: Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2

Cloudy

Staring: Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, James Caan, Terry Crews, Will Forte, Benjamin Bratt and Neil Patrick Harris.

Directed by: Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn

Cloudy 2 starts where the first left off. Shallow Falls is a mess due to the food storm that Flint’s FLDSMDFR machine caused. The characters are forced to leave their homes and later find out it’s been invaded by food animals. Scientist Chester V, CEO of Live Corp and Flint’s hero, is tasked to clean up the island. He sends Flint and his friends back to clean it up and deactivate the FLDSMDFR machine before more food animals get made and the problem gets worse.

Cloudy 2 is a cute, family friendly film that won’t have adults yawning while their kids are jumping for joy. It has some great laughs and the animation is very colourful for the children. To say I wasn’t enthused to see this film wouldn’t be a lie. I saw the first one and thought it was very well done, but I just wasn’t buying the concept for the second film. The concept, however, worked wonderfully and some of the food animals are deemed the best part of the film, especially a little strawberry named Barry, who is just as cute as any cartoon character you’ve seen before. He has the best scenes in the film and will put a smile on anyone face.

The actors in the film voice their characters with energy and hilarity. Some of the actors make it impossible for you not to laugh. Some of the highlights are Andy Samberg and Terry Crews, who voice Flint’s goofy friends Brent McHale, who dons a chicken costume for most of the film and calls himself Chicken Brent, and Officer Earl Devereaux, a cop that takes his job very seriously. My only issue was with the villain, Chester V. He didn’t really do much and I felt to be pretty annoying. He didn’t really seem to fit in with the colourful, energetic characters. He, at some points, took a little bit of the energy out of certain scenes. Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 is great night out with the family. It’ll make you laugh, but it may scare younger children. The scary food monsters have good intentions, but some kids may not understand that at the beginning and may get overwhelmed by the loud roars and overall appearance.

I was pleasantly surprised with how this film turned out and to say their won’t be a third helping to this franchise would probably be a lie, but I won’t let it down so easily next time. If you love films like Shrek and you’ve seen the first Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, be sure to check out this hilarious follow up. I guarantee you’ll have a smile on your face at some point during the film.

Well, ’50 Shades Of Grey’ fans, you have your Christian Grey.

Image

After Charlie Hunnam dropped out, it was unaware who was going to be the new Christian Grey. We had our Anastasia Steele in Dakota Johnson, who I have never heard of until now, but rumours were swirling around Alexander Skarsgard for awhile, and than Jamie Dornan was thrown in the mix. Well, it has now been confirmed that Jamie Dornan will be Christian Grey in the adaptation of the E.L. James best-seller. Jamie Dornan started his career off as model until he started acting in television shows such as ‘The Fall’ and ‘Once Upon A Time’. The film is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and is slated for a August 1st, 2014 release.
