The Avengers 2 has it’s villain.

The Avengers 2 has cast James Spader as the lead villain, Ultron. If you don’t know who James Spader is, he was in a show called Boston Legal, which was actually a pretty good show. He also had a role in Lincoln, which I’ve never seen. Spader joins Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans in the new ensemble superhero film and there’s also rumor that Elizabeth Olsen will play Scarlett Witch. The film is titled The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron and will be released May 1st, 2015.

The trailer for Prisoners, my new most anticipated for the Fall.

Prisoners is a crime-thriller. stars Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Terence Howard, Viola Davis and Paul Dano. The film allows the story of the kidnapping of two little girls and the quest to find the girls and who did it. The father of one of the girls takes matters into his own hands and starts his own investigation, kidnapping one of the suspects who he thinks may have took his daughter. This is probably number one on my most anticipated films of the Fall and it’ll probably stay up there. I’m a big fan of Hugh Jackman, but I’ve never seen him in a role like this. Prisoners will be released September 20th, 2013.

End of summer recap for film

With the summer coming to the end, I’m here to give you my top films of the summer. It hasn’t been a great one for film, but that’s not to say I didn’t have a little bit of fun in the theater. Can’t wait for all the fall releases. There’s already a good amount of films on my most anticipated list. What I keep forgetting to add to my fall list is Prisoners, a crime-thriller that stars Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Terence Howard, Viola Davis and Paul Dano. I will be posting the trailer and the synopsis to the movie soon.

See link here for most anticipated fall films:

Pacific Rim:

The plot may have been a little dull, and the emotion just non existent, but that’s not to say Pacific Rim wasn’t fun to watch. There was some great special effects and it had your adrenaline pumping. Maybe my I MAX viewing brought my interest down a little bit as I felt it hard to distinguish who was winning, but I’m sure I’ll re-watch it when it comes out on Blu-Ray.

Kick Ass 2:

Kick Ass 2 didn’t do very well at the box office, but I believe it was quite an enjoyable watch. For a guy who’s a huge fan of Chloe Grace Moretz, I wasn’t disappointed at all. The action was good, the humor was there and my love for Hit Girl grew.

Iron Man 3:

The movie wasn’t spectacular, but I enjoy Robert Downey Jr immensely. The man becomes the characters he plays. After four films, it’s quite obvious that he’s become Iron Man. I was disappointed with the villains. The Mandarin was a big disappointment to me, but otherwise, the film itself was fun and had a good mix of humor and action.

Iron Man 3 will be released on Blu Ray September 3rd, 2013.

Star Trek: Into Darkness:

I love JJ Abrams. He has this sort of filmmaking and storytelling that I just crave for. JJ Abrams has taken the Star Trek product and made it his own. I’ve never seen the originals, but I love the remake and this sequel. They have a great mix of emotion, humor and action. He’s reinvented the product and made it hip and cool. I’m looking forward to seeing more from him.

Star Trek: Into Darkness will be released on Blu Ray September 10th, 2013.

This Is The End:

This Is The End starred almost every one of your favorite comedians and not one of their jokes fell flat. The movie was downright hilarious and it handled the apocalypse aspect to it very well. The movie sometimes had you at the edge of your seat while making you laugh at the same time. This was definitely the comedy-thriller of the summer.

This Is The End will be released on Blu Ray October 1st, 2013

Despicable me 2:

I had no interest in Despicable me until I started dating my girlfriend and she was bragging about how amazing it was, and while the word to describe it wouldn’t be amazing, it’s pretty hilarious. I fell in love with Gru and his lovely minions, and I believe the minions are probably the best cartoon characters I’ve seen in years. There’s something about them that make us want one of our own.

The Conjuring:

The surprise Horror hit of the summer was exactly that: A surprise. I didn’t expect the film to be as scary as it was, but it approached it’s horror with class and delivered to us a great story and some great acting we never usually see in horror films. It was low on the jump scares and didn’t use gore to gross us out. I’m a huge horror fan, and while not a lot of people usually enjoy the horror films I like, this one seemed to be universally loved by everyone I know who’s seen it.

The Way Way Back:

A great coming-of-age comedy, with great performance from Steve Carell and Sam Rockwall, that has became the best movie I’ve seen all year. I haven’t felt so connected with a film in a really long time. A hilarious and heartwarming comedy-drama that I’m sure everyone can relate to.

More Star Wars casting rumors

With production for Star Wars stated to start January 2014, we still don’t have a set cast. We’ve only been getting these rumors that we just didn’t care about or cared too much about. Rumor has is that Alex Pettyfer and Rachel Hurd-Wood has audition for Luke Skywalkers son and Han Solo and Leias daughter. You may know Alex Pettyfer from Beastly and I Am Number Four. Rachel Hurd-Wood played Wendy in Peter Pan, but hasn’t been in much since then. I know they’re trying to give a younger generation a chance to step in the roles of these characters, and while I have no doubt the movie will be enjoyable, we don’t want a Hayden Christenson situation all over again. Alex Pettyfer hasn’t made the greatest movies. The movie is stated to be released Summer 2015.

When do you get to the point where you ask yourself “is enough enough?”

When you look at Hannah Montana, you think of the role model she was to people who watch the show. The message was always a good one. There was never a sense of unsettlement that I felt now after watching this video.

When do you get to the point where you ask yourself “is enough enough?” cause that’s the question I’m asking now. The fast change in personality that I see in young actors and actresses and the fame that takes over them is just disgusting. I usually don’t dive into situations like this and put my moral values into effect. I usually don’t even care, but how do I not care? The reactions of the artists faces in the crowd says it all. It’s just absolutely embarrassing.

I may be diving too much into this, but as a girl who is a role model to others, I wonder why she chose the selfish route. I understand the value of change, but also understand the value of maturity as well. Sticking your face in dancers butts, twerking every ten seconds and grinding all over Robin Thicke isn’t going to get you universally loved.

It’s too late to change what you’ve done, but put your tongue back into your mouth and put on some clothes. You used to be loved for what you did. Now the people who consider you role models are going to see you like this.

What sense does this make for you? Are you trying to prove something? Cause I think we get it. You want to be like every normal 21 year old girl, but what you don’t understand is the 21 year old girls who act like this usually got some maturing to do.

You are going down the same road as Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan before you, and I must say it’s going to be a long road to recovery for you. I’m not saying Miley Cyrus isn’t talented, I’m just saying use the powers that you have for good. I don’t know if you’re loving the attention or not, but think of the children please.

Fast and Furious 7 adds to cast

Tony Jaa is known for doing films in Thailand, and has chosen Fast 7 to be his first American film. Fast 7 brings back Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson, and will add some other new faces such as Jason Stathem, who will be playing the villain.
